GoldSim Training Session

The week prior to the ICEM conference (Wednesday 7 October through Friday 9 October) a GoldSim training course will be offered in Liverpool, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel (one of the ICEM conference hotels).

Originally funded by the United States Department of Energy, JAEA and ENRESA, GoldSim is a software tool that is used worldwide for long-term safety assessment of radioactive waste repositories and contaminated sites.  GoldSim has been used  to model  existing and proposed radioactive waste disposal facilities in the US, the UK, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, China, France, Germany, and Spain, amongst others.  GoldSim is also widely used for other environmental applications, ranging from municipal water resource management to mine water quality management.

The deadline for abstracts has passed and we have prepared the ICEM'09 Preliminary Program.  However, we are accepting abstracts for our non-paper poster session, # 56 "Projects in Progress" until July 30th.   Also we receive cancellations from our other sessions and look for replacement papers. If you wish to present at ICEM'09, please submit your abstract on-line and let us know your session interests. We will try to accommodate.

HOTEL RESERVATIONS: If you have not confirmed your Hotel Reservations do so immediately because we must release our reserved rooms. We cannot guarantee rooms after July 31.
